VPRC Safety Items

Safety has always been our first priority!

VPRC has always designed our race cars 
with performance and safety in mind.  

We use ISP Head Padding, a Titanium Panel behind the drivers head 
and lower body, and an ISP Seat Pour in our Pro Mod cars. 

We also insist on using Weld Top Fuel DBL Wheels to 
help prevent wheel failure on our Pro Mods.  

In addition to our safety products is our unique chassis design. 
It utilizes a crumple zone for front impact crashes, much like fuel funny cars. 
Our chassis are crash friendly in the sense that if you hit the wall head on,
the front of the chassis is designed to bend up or over, 
so it absorbs a lot of the impact and the driver receives much less. 

Just ask Scott Filkens who hit the wall at over 225 mph 
in Englishtown last weekend and walked away uninjured!
